In 2012, we were awestruck that the apparel industry was developing and selling products made to fit the human body without any understanding of the body dimensions of their shoppers. We also saw that this problem was accelerating as retail transitioned away from brick & mortar stores to eCommerce. To date, this specific problem, generates $300B in profit loss within the apparel retail industry.
To solve this, we developed and efficiently scale the world’s largest 3D body scanning network through our Fit3D brand. This network, spanning businesses in 55 countries, continues to collect the largest and fastest growing dataset of 3D body scans ever, each with hundreds of standardized body measurements and persona enriched data. We have since develop AI that predicts the body dimensions of users with a simple 10 second quiz and known information.
Using our IP and 3D body data, we developed the Fit Optimization Platform and launched BodyBlock AI to solve the size and fit problems within the apparel and retail industries. The Fit Optimization Platform enables our customers to optimize design, inventory management, digital advertisement targeting, and sales specifically around the body dimensions of their shoppers.
Customers such as Nike, PVH, Superdry, Rhone, Cuts Clothing, Linksoul, and have already signed up for our Fit Optimization Platform, which is helping them maximize profit from optimized sizing and fit strategies.
